The Weather Is Here
The weather here seems to have finally turned a corner (like it usually does - it just seems like a long time!), and we've had some beautiful 70 degree days. Friday night my older son's travel ball coach reserved some time at our outdoor field and invited the team out for an unofficial practice for those that wanted to get outside. Only two players, his son and mine took him up on the offer. At the end of the day is worked out great for an hour and half workout getting in some pitching, fielding and hitting just to keep the arms fresh heading into this season. My youngest just celebrated his birthday this week and we celebrated that with a Friday night band competition (his band got a Gold!) along with his choice of dinner (Panda Express!). His Little League season starts in about three weeks and this year he actually got on the Cubs! I'll be helping coach that team as well so let the busy days and weekends begin!
