Loan Depot Park
Am off in South Florida this week for spring break and was very lucky to be able to catch a Marlins / Mets game. Loan Depot park was an absolute nightmare to get to but once there, is a really nice ballpark!
The windows were open so was a really nice view of Miami in left field and we actually saw a good game. The stadium was easy to get into and very clean (probably because they average 11,000 or so fans all season).
Nothing like buying $12 seats and then comfortably moving to the field level seats. Was also a lot of fun watching a $64 million payroll team almost win the series against a $322 million payroll team.
We were definitely rooting for the fish to pull it off but a monster homer by Pete Alonso to centerfield tied the game late and the Mets were too much in extra innings.
Overall was glad to catch a game in Miami and both boys liked the game!
I hope you enjoy your visit (everyday) to the sunshine state.
ReplyDeleteThanks Jon, it has been great! Visited an awesome shop up in Stuart this week and got some great deals! Even found a ‘58 Banks for $15! It’s well loved but right up my alley!
DeleteWow. That first photo offers a great view of the park. Enjoy the rest of your spring break.
ReplyDeleteWill do! It was really a beautiful park but honestly any ball diamond is beautiful to see in my eyes!
