End of Summer (Not Officially Though...)

Whew what a whirlwind the last seven weekends have been! My 15 year old's travel ball season has been quite the adventure.  Games take on more of a showcase feel which means fewer games on weekends (sometimes no Sunday games if we did not qualify for bracket play), but the games now start on Thursday. Sometimes one game at 9 am, another at 11 am -- on a Thursday. Luckily I have enough vacation time available to take days off, but it makes for some pretty busy weekends. Have not had much time for anything else, but am making sure to take the time to enjoy every moment because you never know when the last game might be.  This Saturday was the first Saturday we haven't had a game since May and discovered a card show was taking place in Carmel, the town next to ours. I went with low expectations because there was a lot of Pokemon cards featured on the flier.  I was fortunate to find Joe's booth. He had a ton of vintage, and I spent over an hour there working through the Cubs ...
